A personal path to chiropractic
Dr. Sweeney grew up in a small town in Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Psychology and a focus on pre-med education. While attending ASU, he experienced neck pain from old sports injuries. When medication did not help, he visited a chiropractor for the first time—an experience that changed the direction of his education.
He continued his education in Portland at the University of Western States, graduating Cum Laude with degrees in Human Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic. He fell in love with Oregon and the Pacific Northwest and has practiced chiropractic here since 2012.
Experience in injury care
Dr. Sweeney specializes in new injuries and long-term chronic conditions. He is a Whiplash & Brain Injury Traumatology graduate of the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, trained by Dr. Arthur Croft in auto and whiplash injuries. He has specialized in injury patients since 2012.
Outside the clinic
Dr. Sweeney enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and exploring the Pacific Northwest. He is active with the Arizona State Alumni Association, enjoys golf and skiing, and is a Pokémon Go enthusiast.
