Sports Injuries
Care for activity-related strains and movement concerns, with a thoughtful approach to returning to the activities you enjoy.

Injuries and training demands
Sports and exercise can place repeated demands on muscles and joints. Symptoms may follow a sudden strain or develop with overuse, a change in training load, or insufficient recovery.
Tell your provider which activity you participate in, how the injury occurred, and which movements are painful. An examination can help determine whether conservative care is suitable or another evaluation is needed.
Recovery tailored to your activity
When appropriate, care may combine soft-tissue treatment, attention to joint movement, and guided rehabilitation. Exercises can be adjusted to your current tolerance and the demands of your sport.
Returning to activity should consider pain, strength, movement, and the nature of the injury—not just time since it occurred. Your provider can discuss gradual progression and when specialist input may be necessary.
Do not play through serious symptoms
After a head impact, stop participating and seek assessment if you have headache, dizziness, confusion, or other possible concussion symptoms. Return to play should follow medical guidance.
A suspected fracture or dislocation, inability to bear weight, major swelling, or new numbness needs prompt medical care. For less urgent symptoms, contact the clinic to discuss an evaluation before resuming aggravating activity.
